The profile page for members of hi5 was suffering from growing pains as the site continued to add new features. In addition to improved information design, the profile needed to be set up in a way that could be skinned by users.
The profile skins feature began with 20 gallery skins made in-house and soon boasted nearly 2000 high quality user-generated skins, with the top skins showing on millions of profiles. To help users with their questions and designs, I put together a downloadable template, started a profile of FAQs, and maintained the official help group.
