As hi5.com was rising to become one of the top social networks in the world, the company began to focus on its branding and PR initiatives. One of the first steps was to refresh the logo — a redesign without too much departure from the original. To better represent their youth-oriented service, the new logo was created with a more active and friendly typeface in brighter blue and orange hues. A palette of complimentary colors was also put together for use on the website and other promotional materials.
